Motel Rooms - An Overview

INTERIOR: Most customers say they feel right at home. The units reflect warm colors, smell fresh and are tastefully decorated. Our flooring features ceramic tile in the entry, kitchen and bathroom areas and laminate style floors in the living and bedroom. We use area rugs to help keep things clean and comfortable in the entry, living room and sleeping areas.

ELECTRONICS: We just upgraded most TV's to LCD's! (See room details). Enjoy 60 channels of Cable TV. Each room has at least one DVD player, so feel free to bring some along or borrow DVDs from the front desk. Rooms with bedrooms have two TV's, one in the living room and bedroom. There are alarm clocks but no telephones. Wi-Fi is free, no special password.

KITCHEN: All units have full working kitchens with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffemaker and toaster. The cupboards are filled with most of the cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, etc. that you should need. You'll find each room stocked with salt, pepper, no-salt blend, vegetable oil, cooking spray, foil, plastic wrap and paper towels. You can cook a Thanksgiving Dinner in there! But please, DON'T COOK THE CRAB! That is best cooked outside! Our cleaning staff, and subsequent guests, will thank you!

OUTDOORS: There are chairs and side tables placed strategically along the deck for relaxing right outside your door. Picnic on the green grass or on the patio with picnic tables, extra chairs, gas barbeques and crab cooker. In summer settle into a lawn swing or play boche ball on the lawn. At night there is a fire pit for quiet talk when the evening is right and the wind is calm. Wood is available to start your own fire or have us start one for you. Long handled forks are available for cooking hot dogs and marshmallows.

NON-SMOKING: All of our units are non-smoking. Covered porches over each door help shelter a smoker from the rain while having a smoke outdoors in wet weather. Ashtrays are provided for your convenience.

PET FRIENDLY: All of our units are pet friendly. Please keep your pet off the furniture/bed, clean up after your pet, and do not leave your pet unattended - either in the room or on the property. The pet fee is donated to the local animal shelter.
